Ombre Brows
Ombré ‘powder’ brows are one of the most popular styles of eyebrow tattoo. Alongside microblading, ombré brows are requested daily at our Santa Ana clinic and make up a large proportion of our eyebrow tattoo work.
This is a tattoo procedure that gives you fuller shaded brows with an ombré effect, slightly lighter by the bridge of the nose and gradually getting darker towards the end of the tail. The special eyebrow tattoo pigment is deposited using a dotting technique called pixelization which will provide you with a fluffy, natural look to your eyebrows.
Unlike microblading, ombre eyebrows are created using a machine that is specifically designed for permanent makeup. The procedure is carried out in two stages. Your initial appointment and then a touch up after 6-8 weeks.
Hybrid Brows
Hybrid brows are created by combining two different eyebrow tattooing techniques – microblading with a hand tool, and microshading with a machine.
They are created in two stages. The microblading stage creates the hairstroke-like incisions using the manual microblading tool. Then, to create a shadowy effect, we finish the look with a brow tattoo machine.
Hybrid brows are incredibly popular due to being able to achieve those natural looking brows as if created using an eyebrow pencil. Hybrid brows are ideal for those who suffer from oily skin as it retains the pigment more so than microblading. You will need a touch up after 6-8 weeks and they should last up to 2 years.
Nano Fusion
Nano fusion eyebrows are the newest eyebrow tattoo trend. This is a permanent makeup technique that deposits pigments into the skin using ultra-fine nanoneedles. As the needles being used are extremely thin, this ensures the application of the hair strokes are controlled and precise.
Nano fusion eyebrows offer fine hair strokes that will leave your eyebrows looking naturally fuller and thicker. This treatment is very effective for those with oily skin or darker skin types. You will need a touch up within your first year, however this procedure is designed to last up to 3 years.
