Now that you’re the ideal client, following the before care is crucial. The eyebrow area must be healthy, non-sensitive, and non-irritated. Here’s how to get your skin ready for the procedure because we need healthy & healed skin for the best results:

BEFORE CARE

4 WEEKS BEFORE PROCEDURE

+ For Best Results You Should
  • Stop all acne cream treatment because this thins out and over sensitize the skin.
  • You must stop taking all antibiotics 3 weeks prior to the procedure. Please consult with your doctor before doing so.
  • No laser or chemical peels should be done 4 weeks prior to your procedure.
  • No sunburns on your face.
  • Do NOT use AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) such as lactic, glycolic, citric, retinoid and tartaric acids or any Over the Counter creams and lotions for tone correcting, anti-aging, or exfoliating which can discolor the permanent makeup

2 WEEKS – 24 HOURS BEFORE PROCEDURE

+ For Best Results You Should
  • No Botox or microneedling or facial two weeks prior to the procedure
  • No eyebrow tinting
  • No suntanning two weeks prior to the procedure.
  • Do not pick/tweeze/wax/perform electrolysis one week prior to the procedure If you have skin irritation or blemishes on your brows, please reschedule your appointment.
  • If you are feeling sick, having cold or flu-like symptoms, sinus/respiratory infection please reschedule your appointment.
  • Do not exfoliate 48 hours before the procedure.
  • No alcohol 48 hours before the procedure
  • Stop taking fish oil or Vitamin E one week prior as these are natural blood thinners.

24 HOURS BEFORE PROCEDURE

+ For Best Results You Should
  • No caffeine or alcohol
  • Do not take blood-thinning medications such as Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Niacin, or Coumadin. Please consult your doctor prior to this.

DAY OF PROCEDURE

+ For Best Results You Should
  • Do not work out prior to coming to procedure
  • Come in with how you normally do your brows every day
  • Wear glasses instead of contact lens
  • If it is during your menstrual cycle, you will be more sensitive to the procedure.
